Privacy statement
This page explains what information we receive from you, what we use it for, who we share it with and how long we keep it.
Who we are
This website belongs to Rijnstad Marketing Solutions (RMS), based in Arnhem. RMS is run jointly by Jevano van Ossenbruggen and Julius Ausems. Together, they are responsible for processing your personal data through this website and they handle privacy requests together.
The registration of RMS with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) is in progress. Once it is complete, we will list the related company details here.
Questions about privacy or about your information can be sent to info@rijnstadmarketing.nl.
What information we ask for
Through the contact form we ask for your name, email address, phone number and message. The services you would like to discuss are optional. We also see which language version of the website you used to fill in the form. Please avoid sharing sensitive information in your message that we do not need.
We ask for your phone number so we can call you when that is more convenient. We do not call everyone who contacts us.
If you stay in touch with us or become a client, we also record information needed for working together, such as your company name, notes from our conversations and quotes.
What we use your information for
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to discuss an introductory meeting with you and, where relevant, to prepare a quote. We do this because you ask us to, as a step before a possible collaboration.
If you become a client, we use your information to provide the agreed services and for aftercare: we may ask how satisfied you are and contact you about a suitable follow-up to our work together. We do this on the basis of our agreement with you and our interest in providing good aftercare. If you would rather we did not, let us know and we will stop.
We do not send a newsletter and do not use your enquiry for general marketing. We do not sell your information.
To protect the form against spam and abuse, we use a security check (see "Spam protection"). We do this on the basis of our interest in keeping the website and our mailbox secure.
How your information reaches us and where it is kept
When you send the form, your message goes from our website to the email service Resend. Resend sends it as an email to our mailbox info@rijnstadmarketing.nl at Zoho Mail. We do not store your message on the website itself.
We then add your enquiry to JARVIS, our own customer management system. JARVIS runs on our own computers and uses Cloudflare for online storage and infrastructure, so your information is kept both locally and online. Only RMS staff have access to our mailbox and to JARVIS.
Spam protection
To stop automated submissions and spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When the form comes into view, your browser loads a script from Cloudflare. Cloudflare uses technical information, such as your IP address, details about your browser and the website the form is on, to assess whether you are human. According to Cloudflare, this information is not used for advertising or to build a profile of you. Cloudflare does use it to improve its own bot detection, for which Cloudflare itself is responsible. You can read more in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Who we share information with
We only share your information with service providers we need to receive and handle your enquiry:
Cloudflare: hosting and infrastructure for the website and for JARVIS, processing of the form and spam protection. To be able to trace faults, Cloudflare temporarily keeps technical logs of requests to the website.
Resend: sending your form message as an email. Resend keeps sent messages, including their content, for a period of time under its own terms.
Zoho: our business mailbox, in Zoho's EU environment.
Resend sends our form emails from Ireland, but may also store and process data in the United States. Cloudflare may also process data outside the European Economic Area through its global network, and Zoho may give access from countries outside the EU for technical support. These providers state that they use safeguards for this, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your information
If your enquiry does not lead to working together, we delete your information from our mailbox and from JARVIS no later than 12 months after it has become clear that we will not be working together.
If you have been a client, we delete your information no later than 12 months after our collaboration has ended. Information we are legally required to keep for longer, such as invoices for our financial records, is kept for as long as the law requires. If there is a specific reason to keep something longer, such as an ongoing dispute, we keep only that information for as long as necessary.
Our service providers apply their own retention periods. For example, Resend and Cloudflare keep sending and technical data for a limited time under their own terms; we do not set those periods ourselves.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not set any cookies itself and does not use analytics or tracking, such as Google Analytics. If we want to use this later, we will update this statement first.
For Turnstile, we have switched off the option that lets Cloudflare set a cookie to let you through without a check on a later visit.
If you choose the light or dark view, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage (localStorage), under the name "rms-theme" with the value "light" or "dark". This choice stays on your own device, is not sent to us and contains no personal data. You can remove it by clearing this website's site data in your browser.
This website links to Instagram, Facebook and OpenStreetMap. The website does not load anything from those services. Only when you click such a link do you go to their website, where their own terms apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your information. You can also object to the use of your information, ask us to restrict processing and, in some cases, ask for your information to be transferred.
Send your request to info@rijnstadmarketing.nl. We will respond as soon as possible and within one month at the latest. To avoid giving information to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.
If you are not happy with how we handle your information, please let us know first. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this statement, for example if our way of working or our service providers change. The date below shows when it was last changed.
